Starting with fifth place, we have Brent’s colorful shot of Ripley’s fields. It’s a wonderful place to hike around and just look at the scenery, and this shot really helps capture that quality.

Next up is Ricky’s fourth place shot of a group of CLSC students inside a rather large pipe. Notable for being the only winning picture to include any people, this is a pretty neat shot. Shame the lighting on that day hadn’t been a bit better, though.

A simple yellow flower, a simple little bee. John got a shot of the pollination process at work and walked away with thirrd place overall.

3rd Place - John Sherill

In second place we have another insect shot, this time captured by Ana. An incredibly tight focal length and relatively dull background really help pop out this shot’s main focus beautifully.
