Frisbockey is a pretty big deal at MTU. Basically it’s a mash between Ultimate Frisbey and hockey which should be obvious just from looking at the name. There’s a set number of players on the field at a time, timed periods, and nets that the disk must be hurled through. Tonight the CSLC team (AFK) played, with a good chunk of the rest of us cheering them on. Some of us got…a little bit more involved.

Spray paint was the only helpful drawing thing we had nearby, so spray paint it was. Man, that stuff is tough to get off.

We arrived at the game and immediately set about making up remarkably silly nerdy / gaming cheers to inspire the team. I’m keeping them all on a page on RS, as well as any future chants we come up with. [Link!]

AFK at the Half

Our team got down by the half, so we had to do something desperate. Something crazy. Something…stacked!

We lost in the end, but it was still a ton of fun. For our efforts, Andrew and I both received official CSLC shirts from last year (only four left not claimed!); he for organizing the painted chest, and I for coming up with most of the cheers.

And remember me maties, tomorrow be international Talk Like a Pirate Day. Yarrr!
