On Saturday afternoon my hall (the Computer Science Learning Community (CSLC)) went on a hike out to Mont Ripley, MTU’s ski hill. As it is not currently winter (don’t worry, it will be soon) the hill was pretty empty and there was much grass and gravel and such. The point of the hike, aside from having a lovely time out, was to take a bunch of pictures for the purpose of a contest. We’re allowed to send in five pictures, so I’m hosting them here. Enjoy!

  1. The loneliest chair is my favorite. Also, if not for your shameless plug I would totally be doing homework right now. Instead I’m going to be awake far too late tonight. I blame you!

  2. I don’t know what it is with me and lonely things, but that seems to be my most popular photographic theme. Everyone I’ve asked in my dorm has liked that one best, and “The Loneliest Chickadee” was far and away my favorite shot I ever took for a photography class.

I’d host it, but the last time I scanned it was with a horribly bad scanner so it looks terrible. I’ll rescan it over Thanksgiving if I can find the original again.
